The use of this site is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below. Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Returns

Items (if boxed) must be returned in the original box and packing material. Please do not destroy boxes when opening.

Pieces must be returned with all original hardware.

Please keep all boxes and packing material until you have inspected items thoroughly.

Any item bought through the Hobble Creek Trading web site may be returned for a credit within 7 (seven) days of receiving the item.

All orders are final 8 (eight) days after the customer receives them.

Items must be in sellable condition for a credit to be issued.

Customer is responsible for contacting Hobble Creek Trading regarding returns.

Hobble Creek Trading is not responsible for misdirected mail, email, or any unforeseen delays in shipping.

All unauthorized returns will be refused upon arrival.

We will not accept any returns on special design custom orders. Hobble Creek Trading will not refund custom orders.

Hobble Creek Trading will refund the cost of any returned items minus any applicable shipping charges and fees if the item is not custom and it is returned within the specified time and conditions.

Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer on all returned items and will be deducted from any returns.

All items are sent insured with the shipper. If there is any damage at the time you receive the item you must notify us immediately, BEFORE you sign the bill of lading.

Any sign of external box damage must be reported to the shipping company (UPS, or freight companies) at the time of delivery and noted on the bill of lading.

There will be a $25 fee on all returned checks.

Hobble Creek Trading has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed. We have the right to refuse or cancel any orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Hobble Creek Trading will refund your money.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

Shipping

Internet Orders:

The prices on our web site include shipping anywhere in the continental United States. Call for information if interested in rates to Alaska or Hawaii.

Shipping is to your "curb", not delivered inside your house. Sorry, freight lines do not deliver nor set it up in a person's home, just to wherever they can park and unload.

Shipping Time:

Currently, orders are ready for shipment in approximately 3-6 weeks from time of order on furniture items. Some marked items are in stock and read to ship in just 2 days.

Method of Payment:

A 50% deposit is required when placing your order. When the order is ready to ship, you will be contacted and the remainder of the balance will be charged to your card. If your order is anticipated to ship within two weeks, the full total will be charged instead of taking the deposit.

If payment is made by check, allow 10 days for bank processing prior to shipping. Money Orders are also welcome.

From this point, delivery time is between 3 and10 days (average delivery has been running at 4 working days with a number of different Freight Lines). After your product leaves our facility you will be contacted by the shipping company and they will set up a delivery appointment.

Freight Damage:

Upon arrival of your merchandise (especially furniture) PLEASE inspect it carefully for any sign of damage.

If you find any part of the item damaged, call us BEFORE you sign the bill of lading.  Some furniture parts ( like tops) are made to be replaced easily and we can ship a new one out quickly with no problem.  Certain other parts, if damaged, may require the entire piece to be shipped back to us and a replacement sent.  Please contact us and we can help decide the best course of action in any case of freight damage. 

In the unlikely event that there is freight damage, as long as it is noted on the bill of lading that you sign, we do not make our customers go through the frustrating process of doing ANY extra paperwork or fighting with the freight companies for reimbursement. 

Hobble Creek Trading will replace the damaged part or entire piece if needs be at no cost to you.

Guarantee

Our products are guaranteed to have structural integrity and be free from structural defects.

Due to the nature of log furniture, cracking and checking may occur and should be expected. This is not considered a defect. Any cracking to the point of compromising the structural integrity of the product IS considered a defect and any effected item will be replaced. 

We do not ship green lumber, all dimensional wood used by our manufacturers is kiln dried and logs have be cured for several seasons.

You, the customer, MUST be completely satisfied with our furniture and decor. If for any reason you are not, you can return the products in good condition (not damaged) less shipping and handling charges and the original purchase price of your furniture will be refunded.

Notification to Hobble Creek Trading must be made within 7 days from receipt of goods. This does not apply to Custom Orders.
